iIve always been a bigger fan of dark and especially spiced rums. However, this one has truly impressed me and it is my go to rum. I first tried it in Key West at the Papas Pilar distillery, where I got the sample each type they make. Don’t get me wrong each of the dark rooms are excellent, but I truly love the blonde. Unfortunately, each of the liquor stores near me in San Antonio, Texas seem to only have the dark ones.

This is absolutely the best rum, I’ve ever had. I’ve had different brands of rums before and none of them even come close to the smooth delicious taste. I made the Papa Pillars Hand shaken Colada it was delicious! I’m loving the recipes! I had the Dark Legacy edition and it was amazing too! Thank you for a great Rum!

I trying it straight up on the rocks and the flavor was just okay, kind of mild. Then I tried a double shot with a half can of Coke and I wasn’t impressed. For the price I was expecting a lot better rum.
