Place 6 mint leaves, 3 lime wedges and simple syrup in the bottom of a Papa's Pilar pint glass or shaker. Gently muddle to release the oils and juices, do not strain. Add Papa’s Pilar® Blonde Rum and ice, then pour entire contents into glass. Top with club soda (2-4 oz depending on your taste preference). Garnish with more mint and enjoy!
2 oz Papa's Pilar® Blonde Rum 4 oz Fresh squeezed Grapefruit juice 0.5 oz Sweet Vermouth 0.25 oz Grapefruit liqueur 2 oz Club soda
Combine first 3 ingredients into mixing glass filled 3/4 way with ice. Stir for 30-45 seconds, then strain into Rocks glass over a large cube. Spritz Orange peel into glass expressing the oils and place in glass.
1.75 oz Papa's Pilar® Blonde 0.5 oz Ruby Grapefruit juice 1 tsp Maraschino liqueur 1 tsp Sugar (Papa went without) 1 peel of Grapefruit (as little white pith as possible)
Shake all ingredients and pour into a Coupe glass. Garnish with a dehydrated Grapefruit slice.
*If you want to make it how Papa drank it, double the rum and make it a Papa Doble!
2 oz Papa's Pilar® Dark Rum 2 oz Pineapple juice 2 oz Orange juice 1/4 oz Maraschino liqueur or Grenadine 3 dashes Angostura bitters
Fill pitcher with crushed ice. Add rum, orange juice, pineapple juice, grenadine and bitters. Churn vigorously with a swizzle stick (or bar spoon) until frothing. Fill highball glass with crushed ice. Divide the contents of the pitcher between the glass. Garnish with cherry and orange slice.
